Delighted to share the fantastic news that Harrow Council has acquired 265 The Ridgeway site in Harrow West.
The site has been earmarked for a much-needed Special Educational Needs and Disabilities school benefitting local SEND children.
The acquisition also ensures that local Conservatives have delivered on their pledge to protect the site from out-of-character development. Well done to Paul Osborn, Marilyn Ashton, Hitesh Karia Janet Mote, Christopher Baxter and all at Harrow Council Conservatives.
I will continue to work with my colleagues to ensure we deliver on the SEND school in a timely manner.
The government has today also announced a record £850 million cash boost to deliver up to 60,000 more special needs places.
