As the outnumbered dad of three beautiful daughters and someone who lives with 5 women, employs over 200 women in social care and a co-councillor with 2 female councillors, Abbas says he is "truly blessed!" 
Abbas is a stong supporter and advocate for gender equality in all aspects of our society. In Harrow West his plan for women include:
1) increased police focus on violence against women and ensure women feel safe on the streets of Harrow and protected from domestic abuse
2) campaigning for greater investment in the maternity ward at Northwick Park hospital
3) Making childcare more accessible and affordable allowing more young mothers to return back to work and pursuing a career
